Bangabandhu-Bapu digital exhibition opens at Shilpakala Academy

The Bangabandhu-Bapu digital exhibition based on the biography of two most revered persons, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation of India has started. Education Minister Dipu Moni inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest at Shilpakala Academy in the capital on Saturday at 11:30 am. The exhibition is jointly organized by the Indian High Commission, the Ministry of Culture of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy. Indian High Commissioner to Dhaka Vikram Doraiswamy and State Minister for Culture KM Khalid were present as distinguished guests at the inaugural ceremony. There are about 30 digital screens in the exhibition. Information and photographs of various movements and struggles of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Mahatma Gandhi for their respective nations are being displayed there. The 16-day exhibition will run till October 11 at Gallery No. 3 of the National Gallery of the Silpakala Academy. The exhibition will be open to the public every day from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. After October 11, Bangabandhu-Bapu Digital Exhibition will also be held in Rajshahi, Sylhet, Khulna, Chittagong and Kolkata.
